「副詞的目的格」前置詞を付けずに副詞の働き

時間、距離、数量、様態(=姿、形、方法)を表わす一部の名詞→副詞的目的格

You should do it this way. (=in this way)

All his life he lives in London. (NOT For all his life)

He had to walk quite a way. 

The child was five years old.
